Product description
Gallagher S20li is an innovative solar-powered energizer. With its built-in lithium battery, this unit is 30% lighter and more compact than comparable models, making it more powerful and reliable as well as more portable. With an output of 0.2 joules, it is suitable for fences up to 2 km.
The lithium technology
Thanks to the lithium technology and the advanced 3 W solar panel, the unit charges three times faster in daylight and has three times the operating time of comparable energizers. This means a reliable power supply day and night, summer and winter. The intelligent adaptive power control, Gallagher's battery management system, means that the unit also works during periods of low light.
Robust and completely maintenance-free
S20li is highly robust and completely maintenance-free. With its fully sealed casing and magnetic dial, the electronics and battery are protected. The patented solar panel has double glazing, and S20li has built-in lightning protection. This makes the unit resistant to insects and all weather conditions. With a seven-year product warranty, including three years on the battery, you can be sure that your animals will have reliable protection for a long time to come.
Recommendation for use
Place the unit with the solar panel facing southwest and clear of vegetation. Ground it with a 1-metre-long ground rod (#008735) or a 2x0.5-metre-long double ground rod (#090457). Do not place it on the ground; instead, use the holder (#571126) to mount it on a post or ground rod, or the stand (#007509), which can be hammered into the ground and also functions as a ground rod. The red and green cables with crocodile clips for connecting the unit to the fence and ground rod are included. After purchase or storage, allow the unit to charge fully in daylight for three days by first placing it in the off position facing south. Do this even if the red LED indicates that the battery is low. For long-term storage, keep the unit in a dark, dry and well-ventilated place.
