Lightning Protection for Fence Energizer – EquiSafe

Lightning protector that safeguards your fence energizer against damage from lightning strikes on the fence.

  • Installation: Mounted on the lead-out cable between the electric fence energizer and the fence.
  • Grounding: The lightning protector itself is earthed via a lead connected to a grounding rod.
  • Function: In the event of an overload caused by a lightning strike, the current is safely diverted through the lightning protector directly to the grounding rod.
  • Placement: The lightning protector and its grounding rod should be installed at a minimum distance of 10 meters from any building.
